Despite the many ways in which we can be “connected” with others today, many people feel isolated, lonely and depressed. They struggle to build close friendships or feel part of a larger and meaningful community. These are important existential concerns that make it difficult to have a sense of well-being.
I work with clients to help them develop the skills to reach out to others, including practical strategies to build lasting friendships and community. Although each client’s needs are unique, the first step is to acknowledge you are feeling isolated. We can then work together to help you develop a richer, fuller life for yourself.
