Relationship management

Relationships within the workplace, between friends or within a family, managing interactions with others.

We can control ourselves but have little control over others.

Whether it’s relationships within the workplace, between friends or within a family, managing interactions with other people can be hard work. When things don’t go well, it can take a real toll on us. The issues can be complex and the solutions are often ambiguous at best.

I work with clients to sort out what underlies the problems and how to address them. Because we can control ourselves but have little control over others, I encourage clients to reflect on their own habitual behaviours and thought patterns. How do those habits impact their relationships and how can they be enhanced to get better outcomes?  What effect might these changes have on others?
